Margaritaville’s first adults-only all-inclusive resort is opening next year, here’s the place

Reservations are now being accepted for the newest adult-only resort outside of Cancun, set to open in early 2023.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya will be an all-inclusive property with 355 suites in a variety of categories.

Operating under the Island Reserve brand, the resort brings together both Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts. It will include nine dining options, three swimming pools, a spa and an on-site brewery.

“As our third property to open under the island reserve As a brand, we wanted to offer our guests a new experience that differed from the rest, which is why Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya is our premier adults-only destination,” said Mario Mathieu, senior vice president at Karisma, in a statement.

Located on the beach, the property offers guests the option of relaxing by the pool or on the sand. When they return to their rooms, they have a choice of 13 different room types, all with king or double queen layouts with views of the beach, ocean and Mexican sky.

“Guests are transported to an upscale coastal retreat where every room offers a view due to its crescent shape,” Mathieu said.

room options

When choosing a room, guests have a variety of options. The Paradise King Suites have an outdoor space, while the Beachfront Honeymoon Suites offer ocean views, a wraparound patio, and a fully furnished living area.

There’s even an oceanfront studio that features a king-size bedroom that opens onto a patio and infinity pool.

For those who want to go to extremes, a special suite will include a fully furnished terrace, oversized infinity pool, custom BBQ, outdoor pool table and private butler service.
