FIFA 23 beta release date predictions and how to get a closed beta code

Last updated:

With fans still waiting for the FIFA 23 announcement, a FIFA 23 beta is still unknown.

Last year, EA gave us access to the FIFA 22 closed beta from August 11th to September 1st, 2021.

Codes were sent to select FIFA players in the US and UK who opted in to receive EA emails with already linked EA Accounts.

When we get a closed beta of FIFA 23, we expect players to be able to test out game modes like Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Kick-Off, and more.

Release date and start time predictions for FIFA 23 Beta

The FIFA 22 Closed Beta started on August 11th and will run until September 1st.

We anticipate that the FIFA 23 Beta release date could again be mid-August 2022.

The only reason for doubt at this point is the fact that FIFA 23 is still unannounced.

FIFA 22 was released on September 27th, 2021, meaning the closed beta ended just 26 days before launch.

That said, since the game will mostly be in development by mid-August, we could see almost every game mode with the FIFA 23 Beta.

When does the FIFA 23 beta end?

The FIFA 22 Beta lasted 21 days, and we expect the same for FIFA 23.

If our prediction for the FIFA 23 beta release date is correct, we expect the beta to end around early September.

Can You Transfer FIFA 23 Beta Codes?

No, beta codes cannot be transferred.

When you receive a FIFA 23 beta code, it is tied to your EA Account and cannot be shared with friends.

Will there be an open beta of FIFA 23?

Nothing has been confirmed, so all of our predictions are based on last year’s title.

Things like a FIFA 23 demo probably won’t happen as we haven’t seen a demo for FIFA 22.

We don’t think there will be an open beta, but a closed beta like last time could be on the horizon.

How to get FIFA 23 beta code

Last year, if you opted in to receive EA emails and were selected to participate in the FIFA 22 closed beta, you were emailed a code to play.

We believe select FIFA players in the US and UK who have opted in to receive EA emails to the email address associated with their EA Account have the best chance of participating.

How to sign up for emails from EA

Sign up for our emails to receive an invitation to try the beta. Go to your EA Account email settings and check the box.

  • If you’ve changed your email address or no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account, exchange emails from one account to another.
  • If you can’t remember what email address you use for your EA Account, you can use this article to find it.
  • You can also add a secondary email address to your account. This will help you reset your password if you’re locked out of your EA Account and primary email address. You will find the Alternative email section at the bottom of the Security tab

Do you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement to participate in FIFA 23 Beta?

It is against EA’s rules to stream and record images of closed beta gameplay.

Violating these rules will result in you losing access to the beta and then being placed on a no-access list for future opportunities. You’ll also get a strike on any channels you stream the beta from.

Will the FIFA 23 beta be cross-platform?

The closed beta access was only available last year on the Xbox and PlayStation platforms and we suspect[etcwillbeaimilarstoryonceagainforFIFA23againforFIFA23[usweswirdwiedereineähnlicheGeschichtefürFIFA23geben[etcitwillbeasimilarstoryonceagainforFIFA23
