The animated Sloppy Joe, Xûr, is now live in Destiny 2 for the weekend leading up to next week’s reset. If you’re looking for shiny new exotic armor or weapons for your Guardian, look no further.
Each week, Xûr offers a random selection of exotic armor, one for each guardian class, as well as a random exotic weapon and engram for purchase. In addition to his exotic goods, he has a random collection of legendary weapons and armor to outfit your Guardians.
We’ve rounded up all of Xûr’s information for the week, including where to find Xûr, what exotic weapons and armor are available, and what legendary weapons you should get your hands on, either for PvE or PvP.
Where is Xûr this weekend?
For the current location of Xûr, see Tomb of the Observer on nessus on July 1 until July 5th. To reach him, travel to the landing point at Watcher’s Grave. When you arrive, walk straight towards the tree covered in red moss. Climb up the roots and you will find Xûr waiting at the top to sell you exotic items and legendary weapons.

It’s Helm Day, Warden! If you’re a Titan or a Hunter, you’ve got some great, high-profile headwear to adorn that terribly ugly character you thought would be funny to create 7 years ago and have regretted ever since. If you are a hunter, this role is of Celestial Nighthawk is incredible and this exoticism in general has almost always played a big part in the game’s meta – buy it now. Titans should also consider grabbing these Impenetrable Skull Fortressalthough the role isn’t that good and the exotic isn’t my favorite in general.

The role for Hawkmoon is pretty awesome this week if you’re like me and love Opening Shot as a perk for this weapon! The Dead Man’s Story… not so much – skip it!

Some of my favorites this week include the damage-focused Falling Guillotine roll, a fantastic weapon that every Guardian should have in their back pocket, and Cold Denial, which has a pretty decent roll for a PvE pulse rifle. Deafening Whisper comes close, with some great advantages for grenade launchers, but without flashbangs it falls short of my recommendation.

Some good armor pieces for Warlocks this week, but nothing more than those glorious boots that have sky-high recovery and huge stat totals. Buy this immediately! The Helm and Chestpiece are also pretty good reels, albeit less universal. If they fit a build you like, then go for them!

Hunters only got a good throw in their chest armor this week with high stats and some decent point assignments. That being said, it’s been a pretty disappointing week for our caped crusaders, at least as far as legendary armor goes. But buy this exotic helmet from before!
That’s it for this week with Xûr, Warden! I hope you all enjoy your adventures in Season of the Haunted.
