That’s right folks. Secretlab now sells replacement armrests for the Titan EVO 2022 series. Let’s see if they’re a worthwhile upgrade.
We’ve been big fans of Secretlab here at WePC for a number of years. Their gaming chairs continue to be unmatched in terms of comfort, ergonomics and build quality.
The only downside to Secretlab chairs was the cost. They are almost always the most expensive gaming chair options. Unsurprisingly, this means that the new Secretlab Plushcell armrests are correspondingly expensive. But are they worth the price?

What are the Secretlab Plushcell armrests?
The Plushcell armrests are the first in a series of armrest upgrades for the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 series gaming chair.
When this chair first came out, the magnetic armrests were fun to play with, but the removable magnetic nature of them seemed kind of pointless.

We then learned that Secretlab plans to release replacement armrests of various types to better customize the chair to your specific needs.
Now, almost exactly a year after the release of the Titan EVO 2022 series, we’ve finally managed to get our hands on the Secretlab Plushcell armrests and we really like them, but what’s new about them?

The Plushcell armrests offer a fairly substantial upgrade over the stock armrests that come with the Titan EVO 2022. They are almost twice as thick and made from the same amazing memory foam used in the magnetic neck pillow.
This gives them a much squispier feel over the much firmer stock armrests, allowing your elbows to sink into them more comfortably. If you are looking for pure comfort, you will not be disappointed here.
Additionally, all that beautiful memory foam is padded with jet black velor. This makes for a stealthy, blacked-out look. But if you don’t want to fly under the wheel, they’re also available in pastel pink or light gray.
Whichever color you choose, you’ll notice a subtly shiny band of material running around the edge. This matches the glossy armrest adjustment controls and we really like how they complement each other.
Are the Secretlab Plushcell armrests worth it?
Given the price tag of $70, it’s always been difficult to justify the cost. But after a few days of use, we had a really hard time going back to the original armrests.
The feeling of sinking into the Secretlab Plushcell armrests took sitting in the Titan EVO 2022 from the premium seat you’re used to to one of the most tiring experiences we’ve had in recent memory.
But is all this extra convenience worth the cost?
Well, we’ve already mentioned the expensive nature of the Secretlab product, and it’s relevant here too, as the person who can afford the Secretlab Titan EVO 2022 series chair will want to pay the extra $70 for the Plushcell can afford to lean on.
We’re hoping Secretlab will take a more car-centric approach to marketing the armrests, and perhaps offer them as an optional extra when you sit in the chair at a lower cost.
It’s worth noting that Secretlab also makes “Technogel” armrests if memory foam and velor aren’t your bag. These are supposed to conduct heat away from the body more effectively. Which could be especially beneficial for those of you who are running hot.
Secretlab Plushcell Armrests: Final Verdict
Overall, we definitely recommend the Plushcell armrests as they add to the already excellent comfort of the Secretlab TITAN EVO 2022 series. Unfortunately they are not compatible with other chairs. That means if you have the Omega Series chair or an older variant of the Titan, you’re SOL.
So if you have the disposable income to invest in these, they will certainly enhance the overall Titan EVO 2022 experience, but they are by no means a must-have.
