The story begins
The main character joins the Belchero Orphanage as a newly minted “Bell” cave robber. For lessons and training, the main character joins the three other students, Raul, a boy who is always full of energy, Tiare, the quiet and unobtrusive, and Dorothea, who is a bit airhead. A few months later, the four finally see the day of their first exploration as “Red Whistles”, but there they are already confronted with the harsh reality of the abyss…
The Game Cycle

Prepare for Raids / The City of Orth
In the city of Orth, base of the Cave Raiders, prepare to challenge the Abyss by accepting quests and buying essentials for your raid. As a Red Whistle Apprentice, you will primarily receive your quests from Jiruo at the Belchero Orphanage, but as the Whistle level increases, so will the number of quests you can receive. The town of Orth has the following facilities.
- Guild Headquarters – This is the headquarters of the organization that offers Cave Raiders work. Various quests can be accepted.
- utility business – A shop that sells cave raid essentials. In addition to pickaxes, clothing and consumables are sold here.
- relic appraisal – A shop that values and buys relics brought back from The Abyss. Collect money and experience here.
- Laffi’s shop – A spice shop run by Hablog’s wife, Laffi. Buy groceries and spices here.
Assault on the Abyss
The main objectives in the Abyss are main quests in which an original story unfolds, guild quests accepted in the guild headquarters and collecting relics. The main character has three attributes: “physical strength”, “abundance” and “stamina”. Both abundance and stamina are reduced when trading. Stamina recovers automatically, but to restore satiety you need to eat. It is important to eat regularly to maintain satiety, as stamina cannot be restored when satiety is at zero.
— The Abyss raid requires avoiding hazards such as wild creatures and unstable terrain. When defeated by a large creature, they exhibit a devastating “game-over” performance.
In addition to the three statuses, the player must consider numerous other factors when raiding the Abyss, including the environment, the main character’s health, the amount of food remaining, the durability of tools, and the weight of supplies. The player must be mindful of these factors and act appropriately, whether deciding to continue the heist, return to the surface, and sometimes even what to bring back.
—Carrying too much reduces movement speed significantly and costs the ability to build mines or attack.
return
After the raider has achieved his objective in the Abyss, he must return to the surface. However, the further the raider descends, the more intense the effects of The Curse of the Abyss, physical and mental strains, as they return to the surface. The raider may vomit, experience a significant decrease in bloating, or spurt blood from their body, causing a reduction in bloating and stamina. In addition to Abyssal Curse, they may be attacked by creatures, the terrain may have changed, or traits that were present on the way down may not be available on the way back, forcing them to take a different route back to find.
