Rebel publicly announced her romance with Ramona in an Instagram post on June 10, sharing a photo of the couple snuggling up.
“I thought I was looking for a Disney prince… but maybe I really needed a Disney princess all the time,” she wrote.
The pair have been spotted together since earlier this year and they even walked the red carpet together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March.
Rebel still hasn’t shared many details about her new love, who is an LA-based fashion designer and owner of sustainable fashion brand Lemon Ve Limon.
Shortly after her Instagram post, it was revealed that Rebel went public about her relationship and sexuality to forestall a story in the Sydney Morning Herald after the Australian newspaper threatened to “out” her.
Shortly after she posted her photo, the newspaper’s gossip columnist Andrew Hornery accused the actress of “considering” his news by speaking out on her own terms.

“Thank you for your comments, it was a very difficult situation but I tried to handle it with grace,” she later wrote in a reply to a Twitter post by Channel 10’s Kate Doak.
In his original play, Hornery wrote that he gave the Bridesmaids star two days to respond to questions, effectively forcing the actress on hand, but became angry when the star decided to take control of the narration herself.
“With much caution and respect, this media outlet emailed Rebel Wilson’s representatives Thursday morning, giving her two days to comment on her new relationship with LA casual wear designer Ramona Agruma before saying a single word published,” he wrote.
‘Big mistake. Wilson chose to keep the story rolling by posting about her new “Disney princess” on Instagram early Friday morning, the same platform she previously used to hook up with her handsome ex-boyfriend, wealthy American beer baron Jacob Busch , to brag.
“Considering how bitterly Wilson had complained about poor journalistic standards … her decision to ignore our discreet, genuine and honest questions was underwhelming.”
The article sparked a huge backlash on social media, with users stunned by the paper’s insensitivity, prompting editor Bevan Shields to pen a lengthy statement denying any wrongdoing and wishing the couple well.
Hornery subsequently apologized for his “tone” in the article, claiming he never intended to “cause pain” when he approached the star about their relationship.
“I really regret that Rebel found this difficult,” Hornery said in a column that replaced Sunday’s article. “It was never my intention. But I see she handled it all with extraordinary grace.”
He added: “As a gay man, I am well aware of how much discrimination hurts. The last thing I ever want to do is cause someone else this pain.
