The second anniversary of Genishin Impact is approaching! This, of course, leaves many fans asking questions about what the Genshin Impact Second Anniversary rewards will be like and when the Genshin Impact Second Anniversary date actually is.

We’re here to dive into the details, telling you everything we know about the anniversary and guessing what we think the rewards for the anniversary itself will be.
Date of the second anniversary of Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact will celebrate its second anniversary on September 28, 2022. Last year developer MiHoYo had an in-game event to celebrate the occasion, and there’s reason to believe they’ll be doing the same this year.
Of course, the event itself will last longer than just the day of the anniversary. The first anniversary event lasted until the end of version 2.1, which was released on October 13, 2021.
This means players have around two weeks to redeem any potential in-game rewards before losing the opportunity to do so entirely.
Genshin Impact Second Anniversary Rewards
Obviously at the moment we don’t really know what the rewards for Genshin Impact’s second anniversary will be like, but we can make a guess by looking at the type of rewards that are present during the first anniversary.
There were a few different rewards during the Anniversary Web Event, including:
- One hundred chances to win an Amazon gift card
- PS5 (digital)
- prime gem
- mora
- Mystic Enchantment Ore
- The hero’s joke
- Blessing of the Welkin Moon
- 100,000 mora
Now of course we can’t really guess the rewards for the gift cards and the digital PS5.
However, it is very likely that Mora will still be available since it is Genshin Impact’s main currency. Similarly, Primogems are also an in-game currency of Genshin Impact, so they’re almost certainly up for grabs.
Things get more complicated with Blessing Of The Welkin Moon and Hero’s Wit. Hero’s Wit is a character EXP material that offers 20,000 Exp, and Blessing Of The Welkin Moon is a 30-day premium subscription for Genshin Impact.

It’s likely that MiHoYo will try to outdo itself on this front and offer players something bigger and more substantial as this is a bigger anniversary than the last. Officially, of course, we only know about the anniversary itself.
