We have a lot of information about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion today, including the big news that the flavor text about Sephiroth’s complimentary thorough hair care routine is being carried over from the original game.

reunion is, as the name suggests, the forthcoming remastered re-release from core of crisisa 2007 PlayStation Portable action role-playing game that served as a prequel to Final Fantasy VII. When it arrives on every gaming platform under the sun later this year, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will feature more voice acting, improved graphics, and new gameplay elements, but Square Enix plans to keep pretty much everything else the same.

Speak with Eurogamerexplained producer Mariko Sato that the original core of crisis history remains intact reunionvery different than what is being done with the current one Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy. reunion is mainly intended to reintroduce players core of crisis protagonist and Final Fantasy VII Background character Zack Fair, whose role in the is expanded Make new Plot.

“When you played [Final Fantasy VII Remake]or the original, you probably know that Zack is in the first part Make new game where he does not appear in the original at this point in the story Final Fantasy 7,” said reunion Executive Producer Yoshinori Kitase. “So he showed more than he was. We thought that the people who started the story there would really want to know more about this character.”

But let’s be honest: while it was nice to see Zack’s backstory being fleshed out, it was the biggest moment of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII came when we learned how the evil Sephiroth keeps his long hair so luxurious. Over the course of the original game, Zack is able to join a Sephiroth fan club known as the Silver Elite sends him emails with trivia about their silver-maned hero, including his hair care routine.

The opening message after Zack enrolls in the Silver Elite is as follows:

Dear members of the Silver Elite:

In this update we present another piece of Sephiroth trivia – the secrets of his beautiful long hair.

The hair products he uses are of the highest quality and are manufactured and supplied by the Shinra Company.

He seems to go through an entire bottle of shampoo and conditioner every time he washes his hair.

They are scented with thirteen types of perfumes, including rose and vanilla.

Apparently the smell in the air after Sephiroth tosses his hair changes daily!

I don’t have to tell even the most sanitized players out there that’s how it is a lot of of shampoo and conditioner. Between all his war crimes, how does Sephiroth even find the time to use so much product? Kudos for the dedication to maintaining this beautiful head of hair, but damn does Sephiroth always have to be so flamboyant?

“I find [Crisis Core’s story] stood the test of time,” said creative director Tetsuya Nomura, a man with his own flair for the dramatic. “It’s something people really appreciate. And looking back at the story and how it’s set up, there aren’t many flaws that I can really find in it. I think it’s still a very complete and in many ways almost perfectly put together story.”

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC sometime in late 2022.
